Bio .:

Dan Vlahos is a Boston-based graphic designer and visual artist. Vlahos is currently Creative Director at Shepley Bulfinch, a leading American architecture firm where he works alongside a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, planners and experts as he develops graphic design and brand identity solutions. Before Shepley he worked as a designer and art director at Boston-based ad agency Arnold Worldwide. His award winning work helps corporate, institutional and non-profit clients leverage the power of communication, strategy and design.

While at Arnold he developed award-winning design materials for Volkswagen of America, as well as work for clients including Fidelity Investments and the American Legacy Foundation. While still at Arnold, the ad agency was voted the 2nd most awarded in the world.

His graphic design work has garnered several awards including a Best of New England Design award from the AIGA, the Mobius Award for Integrated Advertising and Design, a Best of Show at Hatch, along with awards from the One Show and Interactive Media Council. His work has been featured in Communication Arts and How Magazine. Most recently his work for Shepley Bulfinch was listed in the 2008 ReBrand 100 Global Awards, the highest recognition for brand rebuilding and redesign in the business arena.

Vlahos is a 2000 graduate of the Communication Design Program at Massachusetts College of Art and Design where he is a part time instructor in graphic design.
